Western Kentucky 1937 Flood. More photos from towns in Western Kentucky. The devastating floods of the 1930’s.  Town photos include: Kuttawa and Eddyville. Paducah and Calvert City. Gilbertsville and Smithland, Kentucky. The floods prompted radical changes by TVA in the years that followed. New dams were constructed. Some towns were moved.
