Deep Dish Pizza Cups are Fast, Fun, & Tasty

These mini deep dish pizza cups are just as fun to make as they are fun to eat.  Let the kids help so they get just the toppings they want. This is the basic ground beef/tomato/cheese version, but you could easily substitute pepperoni or healthier veggie toppings. Enjoy!

Ingredients:

  • 3/4 lbs. ground beef
  • 1  can of tomato paste (6 oz.)
  • 1 Tbsp. dried onion
  • 1 tsp. Italian seasoning
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 1 can (10 oz.) canned biscuits
  • 1/2 to 3/4 cup of shredded cheese

Brown the ground beef and drain.  Add the tomato paste, onions, and seasonings. Mixture will be thick.

Cook over low to medium heat for about 5 minutes, stirring to prevent sticking.

Place biscuits in a greased muffin tin and press each to cover bottom and sides.  Spoon about 1/4 cup of meat mixture into the biscuits and sprinkle each with cheese.

Bake at 400° F. for about 12 minutes–or until golden brown.
